City Hall of Xanthi
The restored building that houses the City Hall of Xanthi is located a the junction of Palaiologou and Mavromichali Streets, at a central point of the Old Town. It was erected around 1830 by the Jewish tobacco producer Moses, while it was later sold to I. Orfanides. In 1926, it was bought by the Municipality of Xanthi and has housed its offices ever since then.
The building comprises two parts. The first has three levels above the ground, while the second has two storeys and one underground area.
